Wings Aloft ^BFIoffers "Real World" Ground School programs, for both Private Pilot and Instrument Ratings, in state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Far more in-depth than simple, "test-prep" courses, these programs are carefully designed to provide you with a thorough knowledge of the course material.

Both courses combine 50 hours of lectures, visual presentations, group discussions, field trips and practical exercises to create a total and comprehensive learning experience. Students will receive training in all subject areas and be fully prepared to take the FAA written test upon completion. Course attendance is limited to 12 students to ensure a proper teaching environment.

Class Hours

New courses begin every month. There are 11 to 12 class sessions per course.

• Two weekday evenings (Tuesday & Thursday or Monday & Wednesday) per week: 6-9pm
• Saturdays: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Tuition payment is due on enrollment.

Class Materials

Students also need to purchase the Ground School Private Pilot Kit, available at Wings Aloft ^BFI.

You do not need to be a member of Wings Aloft ^BFI to participate in our Ground School Programs.
